Aspirin, Carisoprodol falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Codonopsis interacts with.

Theoretically, codonopsis liquor might increase the risk of bleeding when used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs.
A small clinical study in adults with coronary heart disease shows that consuming Codonopsis pilosula liquor for 4 weeks inhibits platelet aggregation but does not affect tissue-type plasminogen activator (t-PA) or plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI).

Soma Compound combines aspirin, a blood thinner that keeps your platelets from clumping, with carisoprodol, a muscle relaxer. The piece that matters here is the aspirin. Codonopsis (dang shen) seems to make platelets a little less sticky too, so pairing the two could add up and nudge your bleeding risk higher.

In real life that might look like easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or a cut that takes longer to stop. Keep in mind this is mostly theoretical, based on one small study using a concentrated codonopsis liquor, so a little in cooking is unlikely to be a big deal. Still, before combining them, check with your pharmacist or doctor, especially if you bleed easily or take other blood thinners.
