It is currently not possible to adequately sterilize the water without killing the fish.     Fish Therapy for psoriasis

    One small, retrospective study in adults with psoriasis shows that undergoing whole body fish therapy for 2 hours each day for 3 weeks improves the Psoriasis Area Severity Index (PASI) score by 72% when compared with baseline. Patients also reported subjective satisfaction with the treatment. The validity of these findings is limited by the use of retrospective chart review and the lack of a comparator group.
