Healing Touch + Nadolol
Nadolol brand names: Corgard, Nadolol.
We found no known interaction between Healing Touch and Nadolol in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first.
Healing Touch and Nadolol
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Nadolol and Healing Touch in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — research on Healing Touch alongside specific medications may be limited.
Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Healing Touch at all — not against Nadolol, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.
Healing Touch is a treatment rather than something you take. Tell whoever provides it which medicines you use, and ask your prescriber whether it is appropriate for your health and treatment. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

The most serious there right now: Activated Charcoal (major), American Hellebore (major), American Mistletoe (major), Green Tea (major) and Indian Snakeroot (major).
By severity: 6 major · 119 moderate · 20 minor.
From our pharmacist’s overview on the Nadolol page
“If you take nadolol (Corgard) for blood pressure, angina, or heart rhythm, treat this list with real care, and green tea is the surprise at the top. In a clinical study, green tea cut nadolol blood levels by roughly 85 percent, which can quietly leave you undertreated.”

Where Healing Touch and Nadolol Sit Against Everything Else
Out of every supplement and medication people look up on HelloPharmacist, here is where these two land this week — and which way each has been moving.
#887 of 1,452 supplements looked up here in the last 7 days
#1,682 of 2,830 medications looked up here in the last 7 days
Position among everything looked up on this site, not a measure of how commonly either one is used or how important it is. A supplement can climb this list because of a news story. It counts every request to the page, automated ones included, and nothing here identifies anyone.
Where does our data come from?
- Source: the Natural Medicines (TRC Healthcare) clinical database — the evidence-graded professional reference for herb & supplement interactions.
- Citation library: 103,510 references behind our interaction content, 65,311 of them resolved to verified PubMed/DOI sources. See every Healing Touch reference on this page ↓
- Freshness: we automatically re-check this combination every week — this pair was last verified September 20, 2026. The Healing Touch and Nadolol records this page draws on were last updated June 22, 2026.
- What “no known interaction” means: no documented interaction in the sources above — not a guarantee of safety. Supplements are studied far less than prescription drugs, so we say exactly what the evidence supports, and nothing more.
About Healing Touch
What is Healing Touch?
- Stress and relaxation
- Pain management
- Anxiety
- Comfort during illness or cancer care
- General sense of well-being
Healing Touch is an energy-based therapy in which a trained practitioner uses gentle or near-body hand movements to promote relaxation and well-being—it is not an herb, pill, or supplement. Some people report feeling calmer and less stressed after sessions, but high-quality scientific evidence that it treats any specific medical condition is limited. It is generally considered low-risk when used alongside (not instead of) standard medical care.
Not applicable (an energy-based therapy, not a plant or supplement) · Hands-on or hands-near-body sessions provided by a trained practitioner
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Healing Touch is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Healing Touch record says about it on its own.
Healing Touch: dosing
There is no standardized "dose" for Healing Touch because it is a hands-on practice, not a product you take. Session length and frequency vary by practitioner and are often around a half hour to an hour.If you are interested, look for a certified or experienced practitioner, and let your doctor or pharmacist know you are using it so it can be coordinated with your regular care.

About Nadolol
What Is Nadolol Used For?
Brand names: Corgard, Nadolol
Nadolol tablets are used for two main conditions: high blood pressure (hypertension) and angina pectoris (ongoing chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart). Lowering high blood pressure reduces the risk of stroke and heart attack.
For high blood pressure, nadolol may be prescribed on its own or combined with other blood pressure medications, especially thiazide-type diuretics (water pills). For angina, it is used for long-term management to help reduce how often chest pain occurs.
Most-Reported Side Effects for Nadolol
From FAERS, the FDA’s public side-effect reporting system (7,530 reports, all brands). Reports are voluntary and are not proof the drug caused the effect.

Nadolol Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Nadolol as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Healing Touch — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
