Hyland's Restless Legs + Posaconazole
Posaconazole brand name: Noxafil.
We found no known interaction between Hyland's Restless Legs and Posaconazole in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first.
Hyland's Restless Legs and Posaconazole
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Posaconazole and Hyland's Restless Legs in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.
Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Hyland's Restless Legs at all — not against Posaconazole, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.
If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.
Hyland's Restless Legs safety at a glance
Safety guidance is general; always confirm with your pharmacist or doctor for your situation.
In most situations, clinically significant interactions between homeopathic products and prescription or over-the-counter medications are extremely unlikely.
Homeopathic medications, which utilize the principle of 'like cures like', are often highly diluted substances. These dilutions are typically so high that the final remedy contains only a tiny amount of the original active ingredient, if any at all.
In theory, because the concentration of the active ingredient is so low, homeopathic preparations are unlikely to interact with other medications in the body.
This is certainly the case with Hyland's Restful Legs, with all the ingredients diluted at potencies of 6X or 12X. A potency of 6X means that the original substance has been diluted by a factor of 10^6, or one part in a million (i.e., for every million parts of the solution, there is one part of the original substance).
It is important to note that not all homeopathic remedies are free of potential drug interactions as some use very low dilutions (which is often the case with zinc-containing products).
Nevertheless, there are no known drug interactions between Hyland's Restful Legs and other medications. It is also thought to be safe to take along with medications to help sleep, like Benadryl, melatonin, and NyQuil, which are commonly used with the product to help sleep.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Posaconazole page
“All 17 supplements on this posaconazole (Noxafil) list interact the same basic way: they can change how much of the antifungal actually reaches your blood. Posaconazole prevents and treats dangerous fungal infections, often in people with weakened immune systems, so this is a list to take genuine care with.”

About Hyland's Restless Legs
What is Hyland's Restless Legs?
- Restless legs sensations
- Urge to move the legs
- Leg twitching or jerking
- Crawling or itching feelings in the legs
- Trouble resting due to leg discomfort
Hyland's Restful Legs (often called 'Restless Legs') is a homeopathic product marketed to calm agitated legs so you can rest. Its ingredients are extremely diluted, and there is no strong scientific evidence that it relieves restless legs syndrome. If you have ongoing leg symptoms, talk with a pharmacist or doctor, since restless legs can have treatable underlying causes such as low iron.
Highly diluted homeopathic ingredients (not a single plant part) · Quick-dissolving tablets (daytime and nighttime/PM versions)
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Hyland's Restless Legs is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Hyland's Restless Legs record says about it on its own.
Hyland's Restless Legs: dosing
There is no scientifically established dose for this product, since it has not been proven effective in clinical trials. Always follow the directions on the package label. Do not exceed the labeled amount, and do not use it as a substitute for treatments your doctor has recommended.

About Posaconazole
What Is Posaconazole Used For?
Brand name: Noxafil
Posaconazole is used to treat invasive aspergillosis (a serious mold infection that can spread through the body) in adults and certain pediatric patients, depending on the formulation and weight. It is also used to treat oropharyngeal candidiasis (OPC) — a yeast infection of the mouth and throat, including cases that have not responded to itraconazole and/or fluconazole — and this use is specific to the oral suspension in patients aged 13 and older.
Posaconazole is also used for prophylaxis (prevention) of invasive Aspergillus and Candida infections in people at high risk because their immune systems are severely compromised — such as stem cell transplant recipients with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) or people with blood cancers who have low white blood cell counts from chemotherapy. The specific formulation approved for prevention varies by age and weight.
