No Known Interaction
The bottom line No known interaction

We found no known interaction between Lunasin and Ambrisentan in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Lunasin and Ambrisentan

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Ambrisentan and Lunasin in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Lunasin at all — not against Ambrisentan, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

What Lunasin Itself Has Been Linked To

This is not an interaction — nothing below involves Ambrisentan. It is the side-effect record for Lunasin on its own, from the licensed Natural Medicines monograph. If something new turns up after you add Lunasin, this list is the first place to look.

Everything above comes from the Natural Medicines adverse-effect record for Lunasin — expand a row for the licensed statement it rests on. We read the ADVERSE REACTIONS section of Ambrisentan’s FDA label too, and the two lists don’t meaningfully overlap — which is why no Ambrisentan column appears here.

About Lunasin

What is Lunasin?

  • Cholesterol and heart health
  • General immune support
  • Antioxidant support
  • Anti-inflammatory support
  • Cancer-prevention interest (unproven)

Lunasin is a small protein (peptide) found naturally in soybeans and some other seeds and grains. Laboratory and animal studies suggest it may have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and cholesterol-related effects, but solid human evidence is very limited. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using a lunasin supplement.

Seeds (most studied in soybean) · Capsules, powders, and protein extracts (often soy-derived)

An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Lunasin is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Lunasin record says about it on its own.

Lunasin: dosing

There is no established standard dose for lunasin supplements. The amounts used in research vary, and product labels differ from brand to brand. If you choose to try a product, follow the directions on the label and do not exceed them. Because quality and purity of supplements can vary, look for brands that use independent third-party testing.

About Ambrisentan

What Is Ambrisentan Used For?

Brand names: Letairis, Volibris

Ambrisentan tablets and Letairis tablets are both used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH, WHO Group 1) — a condition where the blood pressure in the arteries leading to the lungs is dangerously high. Both are approved to help adults exercise better and slow the worsening of PAH.

Both ambrisentan tablets and Letairis are also approved to be used together with tadalafil (another PAH medicine) to further reduce the risk of disease progression, lower the chance of hospitalization for worsening PAH, and improve exercise ability. Most of the clinical evidence was in patients with mild-to-moderate symptoms and PAH caused by unknown or inherited causes, or PAH linked to connective tissue diseases.
