Lunasin + Rucaparib Camsylate
Rucaparib Camsylate brand name: Rubraca.
We found no known interaction between Lunasin and Rucaparib Camsylate in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first. Additionally, although there is no interaction, the two are separately associated with some of the same side effects, which would make a new symptom harder to attribute to one or the other.
Lunasin and Rucaparib Camsylate
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Rucaparib Camsylate and Lunasin in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.
Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Lunasin at all — not against Rucaparib Camsylate, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.
If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

About Lunasin
What is Lunasin?
- Cholesterol and heart health
- General immune support
- Antioxidant support
- Anti-inflammatory support
- Cancer-prevention interest (unproven)
Lunasin is a small protein (peptide) found naturally in soybeans and some other seeds and grains. Laboratory and animal studies suggest it may have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and cholesterol-related effects, but solid human evidence is very limited. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using a lunasin supplement.
Seeds (most studied in soybean) · Capsules, powders, and protein extracts (often soy-derived)
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Lunasin is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Lunasin record says about it on its own.
Lunasin: dosing
There is no established standard dose for lunasin supplements. The amounts used in research vary, and product labels differ from brand to brand. If you choose to try a product, follow the directions on the label and do not exceed them. Because quality and purity of supplements can vary, look for brands that use independent third-party testing.

About Rucaparib
What Is Rucaparib Used For?
Brand name: Rubraca
Rubraca (rucaparib) is used for two types of cancer in adults who carry a harmful BRCA gene mutation (either inherited or found in the tumor). First, it is used as maintenance treatment — meaning ongoing treatment to keep cancer from coming back — in people with recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer who responded (fully or partially) to platinum-based chemotherapy.
Second, Rubraca treats metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to hormone-lowering treatment) in adults who have already received androgen receptor-directed therapy. Patients must be tested with an FDA-approved companion diagnostic to confirm the BRCA mutation before starting Rubraca for prostate cancer.
