What Is Desoximetasone Topical Used For?
Brand name: Topicort
Desoximetasone topical products are used to treat skin conditions involving inflammation. Topicort topical spray (0.25%) is specifically approved to treat plaque psoriasis in adults 18 years of age and older.
The cream, ointment, and gel forms (including Desoximetasone Oint 0.05% and Topicort) are contraindicated only in people with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient in the preparation.
