Trijardy XR combines three diabetes medicines, empagliflozin, linagliptin, and metformin, in one pill, so anything else that lowers blood sugar can push it too far. Most of this list does exactly that: 239 of the 285 ingredients on file add their own glucose-lowering effect and raise the risk of hypoglycemia, dangerously low blood sugar. Three entries rate major and deserve your attention first. Siberian cocklebur has caused severe hypoglycemia in people, activated charcoal can pull the medicine out before it absorbs, and St. John's wort speeds drug clearance through a transporter called P-glycoprotein.
