Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains 2 active ingredients, both forms of choline: Choline L-Bitartrate and Choline itself, which work as the same nutrient in your body. Choline supports brain function, liver health, and muscle control.
The capsule is made from hypromellose, a plant-based capsule material.
Does it work?
Couldn't assess
The evidence for choline in most areas we have data for is limited. For athletic performance, choline appears possibly ineffective.
For age-related cognitive decline, Alzheimer disease, bronchitis, hay fever, and liver health during certain medical nutrition support, we don't have enough reliable evidence to say whether it works or doesn't. The data we hold doesn't establish effectiveness for this product's likely intended uses.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Choline is well tolerated when you stay within normal doses. This product delivers 600 mg per capsule, which is well below the daily upper safe limit of 3.5 grams.
At much higher doses—9 grams or more daily—choline can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and sweating. A small number of people report a fishy body odor, which comes from how your gut breaks down choline.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, choline is actually important for your baby's development. The safety data rates it as likely safe in pregnancy and lactation, but use only prenatal vitamins or supplement doses your doctor recommends—don't guess your own amount.
Meds to double-check
Minor interactions only

If you use atropine or any prescription medication, confirm it's safe to combine with this supplement by reviewing your exact drugs below or speaking with your pharmacist.
The bottom line
