What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains 3 active ingredients. Diindolylmethane and indole-3-carbinol are both compounds found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and cabbage.
LifePQQ is a proprietary form of pyrroloquinoline quinone, a compound that appears in some foods and fermented products. The inactive ingredients are hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, water, and L-leucine.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence for what these ingredients actually accomplish isn't well established in the data we hold. For diindolylmethane, there's insufficient reliable evidence to rate its use for benign prostatic hyperplasia, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, cervical dysplasia, or breast pain.
The same goes for indole-3-carbinol across breast cancer, colorectal cancer, cervical dysplasia, liver disease, and fibromyalgia. We have no effectiveness data for LifePQQ.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Both diindolylmethane and indole-3-carbinol are generally well tolerated, though the long-term safety of diindolylmethane hasn't been nailed down. Common side effects of diindolylmethane include diarrhea, gas, headache, nausea, rash, and vomiting.
Indole-3-carbinol may cause diarrhea, imbalance, nausea, rash, tremor, and unsteadiness — imbalance and tremor showed up at higher doses in a couple of cases and resolved when doses dropped. A rare but serious effect reported with diindolylmethane is DRESS (a skin and systemic reaction).
Because both ingredients have possible effects on hormones, the safety data advises against use while breastfeeding. Diindolylmethane is rated Likely Safe in pregnancy, but indole-3-carbinol has insufficient data.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before you take this product, double-check whether you're on estrogen-containing drugs (including hormonal birth control and hormone replacement therapy) — both ingredients might raise or lower their effects. If you take blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs like warfarin or clopidogrel, indole-3-carbinol may increase bleeding risk.
Sodium-depleting diuretics paired with diindolylmethane carry a Moderate risk of low sodium. A few other medications metabolized by your liver may become less effective, though this hasn't been confirmed in people yet.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
If you take estrogen medications, blood thinners, diuretics, or certain other prescription drugs, check your exact medications on this page before starting. The long-term safety of these ingredients isn't well known, and the evidence for what they actually do is still developing.

DIM + I3C with PQQ by Seeking Health Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
DIM + I3C with PQQ from Seeking Health contains two ingredients with documented interactions.
The most serious concern involves diindolylmethane and indole-3-carbinol's effects on estrogens — both ingredients might either boost or reduce estrogen medication effects, and large doses of diindolylmethane have been tied to low sodium levels in a couple of people taking sodium-depleting diuretics. Both ingredients are also documented to speed up how your liver metabolizes certain medications, which can lower their strength in your blood.
We hold no interaction data for LifePQQ.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Indole-3-carbinol carries an additional Moderate-severity risk with blood thinners and antiplatelet drugs (like warfarin and clopidogrel) — lab evidence suggests it may interfere with how your blood clots. Diindolylmethane may reduce levels of a subset of drugs broken down by a specific liver enzyme (CYP1A2 substrates), though this hasn't been confirmed in humans yet.
Although indole-3-carbinol is well tolerated in food, supplement doses are less studied. Diindolylmethane is generally well tolerated in short-term use, but long-term safety is not established.
Altogether, these interactions span 365 individual medications. You'll want to run any of your current medications through the checker below before you start.
