Every active ingredient lists its own amount on the label.

Why this rating?
  • The label discloses an exact amount for 2 of its 2 active ingredients.
  • No proprietary blends here — you can verify the dose of every single component.

This product contains 2 active ingredients. The first is raspberry ketone, a compound extracted from raspberries.

The second is a proprietary blend — the label doesn't break down what's in it or how much of each ingredient you're getting, so we can't tell you the dose or identify everything in it. The capsule also contains inactive ingredients: vegetable stearate, vegetable cellulose, and silica (a thickener and anti-clumping agent).

Does it work?

Not established
Evidence for Intended Use · database check
By FDA rules, dietary supplements can’t claim to treat, cure, or prevent disease — so labels speak in careful marketing language. We discern each product’s intended use from its name, label claims, and label statements, then grade the clinical evidence for that use. How these ratings are computed
Not established

The graded evidence we hold for these ingredients covers different conditions than the ones this product is marketed for, so there's no established rating for its stated use — see Raspberry Ketone's own graded uses on its monograph.

Why this rating?
  • The label markets this product for: weight management and overall well being.
  • We looked for evidence on: Obesity, Weight loss, Metabolic health, Body composition.
  • The closest evidence on file: Raspberry Ketone is rated "Insufficient Reliable Evidence To Rate" for Obesity (Natural Medicines).

The evidence for raspberry ketone isn't established in our data. The product is marketed for hair loss (alopecia areata) and weight management (obesity), but we hold insufficient reliable evidence to rate it for either condition.

That doesn't mean it doesn't work — it means human studies either aren't available or aren't conclusive enough to say.

How safe is it?

Well-documented data
Safety Information · database check
Well characterized

Adverse-effect, pregnancy, and general safety data are on file for most of these ingredients.

Why this rating?
  • We hold adverse-effect (side-effect) data for 1 of the 1 matched ingredient.
  • Pregnancy & breastfeeding safety ratings cover 1 of 1.
  • General safety write-ups exist for 1 of 1.
  • Remember: this measures how much safety information exists. Thin data is not the same as being safe.

Raspberry ketone has been used in foods safely, but high-dose supplement data in humans is very limited. Case reports describe heart palpitations, fast heart rate, elevated blood pressure, and in one severe case, a life-threatening arrhythmia that needed treatment.

Other reported side effects include sweating, diarrhea, and shakiness. The safety data advises against use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding — there isn't enough information to know it's safe at concentrated supplement doses in those situations.

Moderate interaction found
Known Interaction Concern · database check
Moderate identified

The most serious documented interaction for these ingredients is Moderate. Check your medications for a personalized result.

Why this rating?
  • 1 of the 1 matched ingredient can interact with medications — Raspberry Ketone.
  • The most serious interaction on file is rated Moderate.
  • Some involve high-stakes drug classes: anticoagulant / antiplatelet drugs.
  • For scale: 174 individual medications appear in the full list. A big number alone doesn't make a product dangerous — what matters is whether YOUR medication is on it, so run yours through the interaction checker on this page.

Double-check this product with your pharmacist if you take blood thinners like warfarin — you may need dose adjustments and closer monitoring. Also verify if you use stimulant medications (ADHD drugs, decongestants, diet pills) because of the risk of added heart effects.

Heart and blood-pressure side effects are possible but not well studied. Pregnancy and breastfeeding aren't recommended.

Stimulant Drugs

Theoretically, raspberry ketone might increase the risk of adverse cardiovascular effects with stimulant drugs.
Structurally, raspberry ketone resembles synephrine, a known stimulant agent. Heart palpitations, elevated blood pressure, coronary vasospasm, pulseless electrical activity arrest, and resistant polymorphic ventricular tachycardia have been reported in patients taking raspberry ketone.

Likelihood Possible Evidence D
Warfarin (Coumadin)

Theoretically, raspberry ketone might increase warfarin dose requirements.
In one case report, a patient taking warfarin 55 mg per week had a decrease in INR over a period of one month while taking raspberry ketone 250 mg daily. A warfarin dose increase to 70 mg per week was necessary to maintain a therapeutic INR while taking raspberry ketone. The mechanism for this potential interaction is not known.

Dynamic Health Raspberry Ketones Complete by Dynamic Health Laboratories Inc.: Common Questions

Does Dynamic Health Raspberry Ketones Complete by Dynamic Health Laboratories Inc. interact with any medications?
Yes. Based on its ingredients, Dynamic Health Raspberry Ketones Complete has a known interaction with 174 medications. Use the checker to see how it interacts with a specific drug.
How can one product interact with so many drugs?
Dynamic Health Raspberry Ketones Complete contains 2 active ingredients, and an interaction can come from any of them. We check every ingredient, combine the results into one list per medication, and show which ingredient and mechanism is responsible.
Where does this information come from?
The product label data comes from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD); the interaction data is built on the Natural Medicines database and reviewed by HelloPharmacist pharmacists.
Does raspberry ketone actually help with weight loss?
The evidence isn't established in our data. We have insufficient reliable evidence to rate it for obesity, so we can't tell you whether it works based on what we hold.
What are the side effects I should watch for?
Case reports mention heart palpitations, fast heart rate, high blood pressure, sweating, diarrhea, and shakiness. In one rare case, a serious heart rhythm problem occurred. Heart and stimulant-like effects are possible because raspberry ketone's structure resembles synephrine, a known stimulant.
Can I take this while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. The safety data advises against use during pregnancy and breastfeeding because there isn't enough information to know concentrated supplements are safe in those situations.
What's the proprietary blend in this product?
The label doesn't list the specific ingredients or their amounts — it just says there's a proprietary blend. We hold no interaction data for it because we can't see what's inside, so we couldn't check whether it interacts with your medications.
Do I need to worry about this if I don't take any medications?
Even without medications, the safety profile is limited. The most serious risks — heart palpitations, elevated blood pressure, and in rare cases dangerous heart rhythms — can happen from the stimulant-like effects of raspberry ketone alone.
