Ignite Capsules Ingredients & Drug Interactions
by Vida Divina
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Ignite Capsules against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Ignite Capsules by Vida Divina
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
Ignite Capsules contains 18 active ingredients, most of them digestive enzymes. Papain is a protein-digesting enzyme from papaya; bromelain is a similar enzyme from pineapple; and lactase breaks down milk sugar (lactose).
The rest — lipase, phytase, and a long list of others like amylase, protease, and glucoamylase — are enzymes that help break down different components of food in your digestive tract. The capsule also contains inactive ingredients including maltodextrin, hypromellose, water, and medium chain triglycerides.
Does it work?
Strong evidence
The evidence we hold doesn't establish that these ingredients work for any condition. Lactase is rated effective for lactose intolerance — if you can't digest milk sugar, lactase can help.
For everything else in this product — papain, bromelain, lipase, phytase, and the other enzymes — the evidence is insufficient to say whether they're effective. Many of these are sold as digestive aids, but reliable data supporting that use isn't available in our records.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Most of these ingredients are generally well tolerated at normal doses. Papain may irritate your digestive tract and can cause allergic reactions; in people sensitive to it, symptoms include itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing, stomach cramps, and diarrhea.
Bromelain commonly causes diarrhea, gas, and stomach upset. At high doses, papain may cause rare serious effects like a tear in your esophagus or severe inflammation of your stomach lining.
Papain is possibly unsafe in pregnancy and should be avoided; there isn't enough data to recommend bromelain, lactase, or lipase during pregnancy either, so check with your doctor. For breastfeeding, there's limited safety information for bromelain, lipase, and phytase — talk with your healthcare provider before using.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking this product, double-check with your doctor or pharmacist if you take warfarin or other anticoagulants (blood thinners) — papain may increase their effects. Also check if you take antiplatelet drugs like aspirin, clopidogrel, or ticlopidine, or tetracycline antibiotics, since bromelain may affect those as well.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with clinical evidence supporting its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Ignite Capsules is an enzyme blend sold as a digestive aid, but we don't have evidence it works for that purpose. If you take warfarin or other blood thinners, or antiplatelet drugs, this product isn't a good fit because of papain and bromelain.
Even if you don't take those medications, run your full medication list through the checker on this page before starting, and talk it over with your doctor or pharmacist.

Ignite Capsules by Vida Divina Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Ignite Capsules by Vida Divina contains ingredients that interact with medications.
The most serious interaction is through papain (also listed as Protease 1 and Protease 2), which may increase the effects and side effects of warfarin (a blood thinner). One case report documented a patient stable on warfarin whose blood-thinning level (INR) spiked to 7.4 after taking a papain-containing supplement.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Bromelain may also increase bleeding risk if you're taking anticoagulants (blood thinners) or antiplatelet drugs like aspirin or clopidogrel. There's one case report of minor bruising when bromelain was combined with naproxen.
Additionally, bromelain may theoretically increase absorption of tetracycline antibiotics, though one study in healthy volunteers found no change in antibiotic levels.
Altogether, these interactions span 141 individual medications. We could not check several other ingredients in this product — cellulase, xylanase, hemicellulase, amylase, aspergillopepsin, glucoamylase, invertase, peptidase, pectinase, alpha galactosidase, and beta glucanase — because we hold no data for them.
Use the medication checker below to see if any of your drugs are affected.

For each ingredient in Ignite Capsules with known interactions, here are the types of medications they can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Bromelain
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Bromelain may have antiplatelet effects and may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
There is one case report of a patient experiencing minor bruising while taking bromelain with naproxen. Bromelain is thought to have antiplatelet activity. Whether this interaction is of concern with topical bromelain is unclear. Interference with coagulation of burn wounds has been reported in a patient receiving bromelain-based enzymatic debridement. However, observational research has found that topical bromelain debridement is not associated with increases or decreases in laboratory markers of coagulation when compared with surgical debridement.
Tetracycline Antibiotics
Theoretically, bromelain might increase levels of tetracycline antibiotics.
Laboratory research suggests that bromelain might increase the absorption of tetracycline antibiotics. However, a study in healthy adults reported no difference in tetracycline plasma levels when a 500 mg dose was taken with or without bromelain 80 mg.
Papain
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Theoretically, papain might increase the effects and side effects of warfarin.
In one case report, a patient previously stable on warfarin was found to have an international normalization ratio (INR) of 7.4, which was attributed to ingestion of a supplement containing papain from papaya extract.
