OptiFlow Ingredients & Drug Interactions
by Bricker Labs
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking OptiFlow against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

What’s inside
Full disclosure
OptiFlow contains two active ingredients: tomato concentrate and Resvida Trans Resveratrol. Tomato concentrate is a concentrated form of tomato; the product provides 2 active ingredients total.
The other ingredients listed are inactive excipients—microcrystalline cellulose, vegetarian cellulose, vegetable magnesium stearate, and silica—which help form and stabilize the capsule.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence for OptiFlow's ingredients is mixed and often limited. Tomato concentrate shows possibly ineffective ratings for bladder cancer, breast cancer, and diabetes; for benign prostate enlargement, high cholesterol, and exercise-induced asthma, there isn't enough reliable evidence to rate it.
Resveratrol is rated possibly effective for obesity and hay fever (allergic rhinitis), but possibly ineffective for heart disease and high cholesterol. For most conditions, the data on file doesn't establish clear benefit.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Tomato concentrate is generally well tolerated in typical food amounts and in extract form, though concentrated supplements are less studied than whole tomatoes. Rare serious side effects can occur with excessive consumption of tomatine (a compound in tomato leaves and unripe green tomatoes), including dizziness, headache, and digestive upset.
An airborne allergy to tomato stem proteins has been reported in one case. Resveratrol is generally well tolerated at typical supplement doses, though higher doses may cause digestive upset, diarrhea, or loose stools.
Safety is not fully established long-term. During pregnancy, resveratrol safety information is insufficient—the data advises against supplement use.
While breastfeeding, the data also advises against it due to insufficient safety information. One case of a skin rash was reported in a trial and resolved after stopping resveratrol.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before starting OptiFlow, double-check your medications against these drug types: blood thinners and antiplatelet drugs (warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel), and any medication broken down by your liver via the CYP2C19, CYP1A2, CYP2E1, or CYP3A4 pathways. These are Moderate-severity interactions.
Use the medication search tool on this page to look up your specific drugs.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
OptiFlow may appeal to people interested in tomato and resveratrol supplements for general wellness, but the evidence for specific health claims is limited or mixed. If you take blood thinners or antiplatelet medications, or any prescription drug, check with us first—resveratrol can affect how your liver handles many medications.
If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.

OptiFlow by Bricker Labs Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
OptiFlow by Bricker Labs contains resveratrol, which has documented interactions with medications.
The most serious concerns involve blood thinners and antiplatelet drugs (like warfarin or aspirin) — resveratrol may increase bleeding risk if you're already on these medications.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Resveratrol also theoretically affects how your liver processes several classes of drugs. In vitro research suggests it may inhibit enzymes that break down medications metabolized by CYP2C19, CYP1A2, CYP2E1, and CYP3A4 pathways, which could raise drug levels in your bloodstream.
However, most of these interactions haven't been seen in humans yet; a study at 3,000 mg daily of resveratrol showed no dose adjustment was needed for CYP3A4 substrates, though one smaller study did show a 54% increase in one drug's concentration at a lower dose.
Tomato concentrate, the other active ingredient, has no interactions documented in our data. Altogether, these interactions span 812 individual medications.
Use the medication checker on this page to look up your specific drugs before you start.

For each ingredient in OptiFlow with known interactions, here are the types of medications it can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Resvida Trans Resveratrol
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Resveratrol may have antiplatelet effects and may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Resveratrol seems to have antiplatelet effects.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP1A2.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit CYP1A2 enzymes. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2C19 (Cyp2C19) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C19.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit CYP2C19 enzymes. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2E1 (Cyp2E1) Substrates
Resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2E1.
In vitro research suggests that resveratrol inhibits CYP2E1 isoenzyme. Also, a pharmacokinetic study shows that taking resveratrol 500 mg daily for 10 days prior to taking a single dose of chlorzoxazone 250 mg increases the maximum concentration of chlorzoxazone by about 54%, the area under the curve of chlorzoxazone by about 72%, and the half-life of chlorzoxazone by about 35%. Chlorzoxazone is used as a probe drug for CYP2E1.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit the CYP3A4 enzyme. However, clinical research shows that taking resveratrol 3000 mg daily for 8 weeks does not necessitate dose adjustments to medications metabolized by CYP3A4.
