Every active ingredient lists its own amount on the label.

Why this rating?
  • The label discloses an exact amount for 1 of its 1 active ingredient.
  • No proprietary blends here — you can verify the dose of every single component.

This product contains one active ingredient: raspberry ketone. There are no inactive ingredients listed.

Raspberry ketone is a natural compound found in red raspberries that is marketed for weight and hair health, though the evidence for these uses remains limited.

Evidence for Intended Use · database check
By FDA rules, dietary supplements can’t claim to treat, cure, or prevent disease — so labels speak in careful marketing language. We discern each product’s intended use from its name, label claims, and label statements, then grade the clinical evidence for that use. How these ratings are computed
Not assessable

This is a single-ingredient Raspberry Ketone product and its label doesn't state a use — see Raspberry Ketone's own graded uses on its monograph.

Why this rating?
  • We looked at the product name, claims, and label statements and couldn't find a stated purpose to grade.

The evidence we have doesn't establish that raspberry ketone works for the purposes it's marketed for. For obesity and alopecia areata (a type of hair loss), the rating is insufficient reliable evidence — meaning we don't have solid data yet on whether it actually helps.

Before you start, you should know that scientific support for this ingredient is not yet strong.

How safe is it?

Well-documented data
Safety Information · database check
Well characterized

Adverse-effect, pregnancy, and general safety data are on file for most of these ingredients.

Why this rating?
  • We hold adverse-effect (side-effect) data for 1 of the 1 matched ingredient.
  • Pregnancy & breastfeeding safety ratings cover 1 of 1.
  • General safety write-ups exist for 1 of 1.
  • Remember: this measures how much safety information exists. Thin data is not the same as being safe.

Raspberry ketone has been used in food safely, but safety data for the high doses found in supplements is very limited in humans. The bigger concern is that it structurally resembles a known stimulant, so stimulant-related side effects are possible — case reports describe heart palpitations, rapid heartbeat, elevated blood pressure, coronary vasospasm, and in one serious case, a life-threatening arrhythmia.

Some people have also reported sweating, diarrhea, and shakiness. There isn't enough safety information to use raspberry ketone during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

If you're pregnant or nursing, talk with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.

The most serious documented interaction for these ingredients is Moderate. Check your medications for a personalized result.

Why this rating?
  • 1 of the 1 matched ingredient can interact with medications — Raspberry Ketone.
  • The most serious interaction on file is rated Moderate.
  • Some involve high-stakes drug classes: anticoagulant / antiplatelet drugs.
  • For scale: 174 individual medications appear in the full list. A big number alone doesn't make a product dangerous — what matters is whether YOUR medication is on it, so run yours through the interaction checker on this page.

If you take any stimulant drugs (prescribed for ADHD, narcolepsy, obesity, or other conditions), double-check with your doctor or pharmacist first — raspberry ketone may increase your risk of serious heart problems. If you take warfarin or other blood thinners, your dose may need adjustment.

Do not start this product without clearing it with your own healthcare provider.

The bottom line

Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no assessable stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.

Raspberry Ketones might interest you if you're looking for support with weight or hair health, but the evidence isn't solid yet. The real caution is if you take stimulant medications or warfarin — this product may cause serious heart effects or reduce how well your blood thinner works.

Before you start, check your medication list with your doctor or pharmacist to make sure it's safe for you.

Stimulant Drugs

Theoretically, raspberry ketone might increase the risk of adverse cardiovascular effects with stimulant drugs.
Structurally, raspberry ketone resembles synephrine, a known stimulant agent. Heart palpitations, elevated blood pressure, coronary vasospasm, pulseless electrical activity arrest, and resistant polymorphic ventricular tachycardia have been reported in patients taking raspberry ketone.

Likelihood Possible Evidence D
Warfarin (Coumadin)

Theoretically, raspberry ketone might increase warfarin dose requirements.
In one case report, a patient taking warfarin 55 mg per week had a decrease in INR over a period of one month while taking raspberry ketone 250 mg daily. A warfarin dose increase to 70 mg per week was necessary to maintain a therapeutic INR while taking raspberry ketone. The mechanism for this potential interaction is not known.

Raspberry Ketones by BulkSupplements.com: Common Questions

Does Raspberry Ketones by BulkSupplements.com interact with any medications?
Yes. Based on its ingredients, Raspberry Ketones has a known interaction with 174 medications. Use the checker to see how it interacts with a specific drug.
How can one product interact with so many drugs?
Raspberry Ketones contains a single active ingredient, and that one ingredient can interact with many different medications on its own. We check it against each medication and show the mechanism responsible.
Where does this information come from?
The product label data comes from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD); the interaction data is built on the Natural Medicines database and reviewed by HelloPharmacist pharmacists.
Does raspberry ketone actually help with weight loss?
The evidence we have rates it as insufficient reliable evidence — we don't have solid scientific data yet showing it works for obesity. You should know that this ingredient isn't proven to help with weight before you buy it.
Can I take this if I'm on a stimulant medication like Adderall?
No — do not take this without talking to your doctor or pharmacist first. Raspberry ketone resembles a known stimulant, and combining it with stimulant drugs may cause serious heart problems like palpitations, high blood pressure, and dangerous arrhythmias. Your healthcare provider needs to weigh the risks for your specific situation.
What are the side effects?
Because raspberry ketone resembles a stimulant, stimulant-like side effects are possible. Case reports describe heart palpitations, rapid heartbeat, elevated blood pressure, and in rare cases, serious arrhythmias. Some people have also reported sweating, diarrhea, and shakiness. It's not well studied in humans, so other effects may occur.
Is it safe to take during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
No — there isn't enough safety information. The data advises against using concentrated raspberry ketone supplements during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Talk with your doctor or pharmacist if you're pregnant or nursing and are thinking about a supplement.
I take warfarin. Can I use this?
Do not start this without your doctor's direct approval. Raspberry ketone may reduce how well warfarin works, and one case report shows a patient needed a much higher warfarin dose to maintain proper blood-thinning while taking this product. Your doctor or pharmacist needs to monitor you closely if you combine them.
