Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: Restharrow Root Extract, Dry. In herbal medicine, restharrow has traditionally been used for urinary tract and kidney concerns, though the current evidence doesn't yet support those uses in humans.
The liquid formulation also contains alcohol, water, and glycerin as inactive ingredients.
Does it work?
Insufficient evidence
The evidence for restharrow isn't established yet in our data. The product has been used traditionally for benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate), kidney stones, urinary tract infections, and gastritis, but we don't have reliable human trial evidence to confirm it works for any of these.
If you're considering it for one of these reasons, that's a conversation worth having with your pharmacist.
How safe is it?
Some data gaps
Restharrow is generally regarded as traditionally used, but human safety data are limited. The product should be avoided during pregnancy—there isn't enough safety information to recommend it.
Safety while breastfeeding is also unknown, so you should avoid it then too. No adverse effects were reported in the data we hold, but the overall safety profile in people hasn't been thoroughly studied.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
If you take lithium for mood disorders, double-check before using this product—restharrow may raise lithium levels and strengthen its effects.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with insufficient evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and some safety-information gaps remain.

Restharrow by Herbal Terra Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Restharrow Root Extract by Herbal Terra does interact with at least one medication category.
The main concern is lithium, a mood stabilizer used for bipolar disorder. Restharrow is thought to have diuretic properties—meaning it may increase urine output—and theoretically this could raise lithium levels in your body and strengthen its effects, which matters because lithium has a narrow therapeutic window.
If you take lithium, check with your pharmacist or doctor before starting this product.
