Clinical
This is an over-the-counter lotion applied to the face to provide moisturizing and sun protection. Homosalate and octocrylene are ultraviolet light filters that are commonly used in sunscreens to help block UVA and UVB rays from reaching the skin. Zinc oxide is a mineral ingredient that also functions as a UV filter and is often found in sun care and skin barrier products. The product is marketed under FDA's over-the-counter monograph rules for sunscreen and skin care lotions.
