Clinical
Walgreens Chest Rub is a topical ointment sold as an over-the-counter monograph product containing menthol, camphor, and eucalyptus oil. These three ingredients are commonly used together in chest rubs and vapors to produce a cooling or warming sensation on the skin and may help create a soothing aromatic effect. The ointment is applied directly to the skin of the chest and throat area. This product type is regulated under the FDA's established guidelines for OTC chest rub and cough-relief products.
