Clinical
Senna-S is an over-the-counter oral capsule containing two active ingredients commonly used together for digestive relief. Sennosides function as a stimulant laxative that typically works to promote bowel movement. Docusate sodium is a stool softener that is commonly used to make stools easier to pass. This product is marketed under FDA's over-the-counter monograph rules for laxative combinations rather than as an individually approved drug application.
