🩺 Clinical
Calahist is a lotion applied to the skin. It contains pramoxine hydrochloride, a local anesthetic typically used to numb minor skin irritation and itching, and zinc oxide, which is commonly used in topical products for its soothing and protective properties. This is an over-the-counter monograph product, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for its product category rather than an individual drug review.
