Clinical
Carmex Daily Care Moisturizing Lip Balm is a topical salve applied to the lips that contains two sunscreen active ingredients, octinoxate and oxybenzone. These UV filters are commonly used in lip balms and sunscreens to help protect skin from ultraviolet radiation. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is made according to FDA's established guidelines for sunscreen products rather than through an individual product application.
