🩺 Clinical
Rite Aid Maximum Strength Benzocaine 20 g/100g is an over-the-counter oral liquid containing benzocaine, a local anesthetic. This product is marketed under the FDA's OTC monograph rule for its category rather than as an individually reviewed drug application. Benzocaine is typically used to numb minor mouth and throat irritations, such as those from canker sores, cold sores, or minor gum discomfort, by temporarily blocking nerve signals in the affected area.
