Clinical
Tussin Severe Cough Cold Flu is an over-the-counter oral liquid combination product marketed under FDA's OTC monograph rules. It contains acetaminophen, which is typically used to reduce fever and relieve pain, along with dextromethorphan, which is commonly used to suppress cough. The product also includes guaifenesin, an expectorant typically used to help thin mucus and make coughs more productive, and phenylephrine, a decongestant typically used to relieve nasal congestion. This combination is intended for people experiencing multiple cold and flu symptoms at once.
