Clinical
This is a topical lotion sunscreen marketed as an over-the-counter monograph product. It contains three UV-filtering ingredients (avobenzone, homosalate, and octocrylene) that are typically used together to absorb and scatter ultraviolet radiation from the sun. The lotion formulation is designed to be applied to the skin to help reduce sun exposure. This product is sold under FDA's established rulebook for OTC sunscreens rather than as an individually reviewed drug application.
