Clinical
Excelon Antibacterial Plum Foam Handwash is a liquid topical cleanser containing benzalkonium chloride, a type of antimicrobial agent typically used in hand soaps and sanitizers. Benzalkonium chloride is commonly included in over-the-counter antibacterial products to help reduce bacteria on the skin during routine handwashing. This product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows established FDA guidelines for antimicrobial hand-wash ingredients rather than undergoing individual product approval.
