Clinical
De La Cruz Gentian Violet 1 g/100mL Tincture is a topical liquid product containing gentian violet, a dye and antiseptic agent. This over-the-counter monograph drug is typically used on skin to help address minor fungal and bacterial infections. Gentian violet has been traditionally applied to cuts, scrapes, and areas affected by conditions like ringworm or thrush. The tincture form allows the active ingredient to be painted or dabbed directly onto affected areas.
