Clinical
Terrasil Bruise and Pain Relief Maximum Strength is a topical ointment containing camphor and menthol. This product is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for this category of ointment rather than as an individually reviewed application. Camphor and menthol are counterirritants commonly used in topical products intended to produce a warming or cooling sensation on the skin, and both have a long history in over-the-counter pain relief formulations.
