🩺 Clinical
This is a lip balm stick containing zinc oxide, an ingredient commonly used in sunscreen and sun protection products. Applied topically to the lips, zinc oxide functions as a physical sunscreen agent that typically helps block ultraviolet light from the sun. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter drug under the FDA's sunscreen monograph rules, which set the standards for how sunscreen ingredients may be used without individual product approval. The balm is formulated with SPF 15 sun protection factor.
