🩺 Clinical
This is a topical acne-clearing cream containing 5% sulfur, marketed as an over-the-counter monograph product. Sulfur is commonly used in acne treatments because it is thought to help reduce bacteria and promote skin cell turnover on the surface of the skin. The product is applied directly to affected areas as a mask or spot treatment. This type of product falls under FDA's established rules for over-the-counter acne ingredients rather than requiring individual FDA approval.
