Clinical
HEB SPF 50 Pink Peony Sunscreen is a topical lotion containing four active ingredients that function as ultraviolet light filters. Avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene are commonly used together in sunscreen products to absorb and scatter UV radiation from the sun. This is an over-the-counter monograph product, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for sunscreen ingredients rather than through an individual product application. The lotion is typically applied to skin before sun exposure.
