Clinical
This is a compressed gas mixture delivered by inhalation, containing oxygen and helium. Oxygen is commonly used in medical settings to help patients breathe and maintain adequate oxygen levels in their blood when natural breathing is not sufficient. Helium is typically added to gas mixtures to reduce airway resistance and make breathing easier, particularly in patients with certain respiratory conditions. This product is marketed as an unapproved medical gas and is used under prescription.

About this NDC listing & data coverage
Listed without an FDA application
This product's marketing category indicates it is marketed without an approved FDA application (no NDA, ANDA, or BLA on file). Having an NDC does not by itself establish FDA approval — the NDC Directory is a listing system, not an approval decision. Approval-linked data such as Orange Book therapeutic-equivalence ratings therefore does not apply.
