Clinical
Muscular Balm is a topical ointment containing three active ingredients commonly used in over-the-counter pain-relief products. Capsaicin is derived from chili peppers and is typically used to help reduce pain sensations in muscles and joints. Menthol and methyl salicylate are counterirritants that create a warming or cooling sensation on the skin and are commonly included in rubbing balms. This product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established safety and use guidelines for topical pain-relief products.
