Clinical
Spectric is a homeopathic liquid preparation taken by mouth that contains multiple botanical and mineral substances. Homeopathic products like this are marketed based on traditional homeopathic use, not on clinical evidence, and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness. The formula includes ingredients such as amanita muscaria, datura stramonium, and helleborus niger, which are used in homeopathic practice, along with trace amounts of serotonin, levodopa, and potassium bromide. Homeopathic practitioners select such combinations based on homeopathic theory rather than established medical science.
