Clinical
This is a sugar-free lozenge containing pectin, an over-the-counter monograph drug product taken by mouth. Pectin is a natural fiber typically used in lozenges and throat products to help coat and soothe the throat. Wild cherry flavoring is added for taste. This product is marketed under FDA's established rules for over-the-counter throat lozenges rather than as an individually approved drug application.
