Clinical
Novita Isopropyl Alcohol 50% is a liquid solution applied to the skin as an over-the-counter antiseptic and disinfectant. Isopropyl alcohol at this concentration is commonly used to clean minor cuts and scrapes and to disinfect small areas of skin before medical procedures or injections. This is an OTC monograph product, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for this drug category rather than through an individual product application. The solution is meant for topical use only.
