Clinical
Scar Gel SPF 35 is a topical cream containing zinc oxide as its active ingredient. Zinc oxide is commonly used in over-the-counter sunscreen products to reflect and scatter ultraviolet light from the skin. This product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows established FDA guidelines for its product category rather than undergoing individual application review. The cream formulation is applied directly to the skin.
