Clinical
This is a topical antibacterial soap containing benzalkonium chloride, a quaternary ammonium compound typically used in over-the-counter antimicrobial products for routine hand and skin cleansing. The product is marketed under FDA's OTC monograph rules for antibacterial soaps rather than as an individually approved drug application. Benzalkonium chloride functions as an antimicrobial agent intended to reduce bacteria on the skin surface. This formulation also includes aloe, commonly added to soaps for its moisturizing properties.
