Clinical
This is an over-the-counter oral capsule containing simethicone (also called dimethicone), a gas-relief ingredient. Simethicone is typically used to help reduce bloating, pressure, and discomfort caused by excess gas in the digestive tract. It works by breaking up gas bubbles so they can be passed more easily through the intestines. This product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for this category rather than being individually reviewed.
