Clinical
XtraCare Foam Antibacterial Hand Wash is a topical soap containing benzalkonium chloride, an antimicrobial agent. Benzalkonium chloride is commonly used in hand soaps and cleansers to help reduce bacteria on the skin during washing. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established safety and use guidelines for antibacterial hand soaps rather than being individually approved as a new drug application.
