Where does this data come from?
Clinical
Foundation Primer Plus SPF 15 is a topical cream containing two sunscreen active ingredients: octinoxate and octisalate. These ingredients function as ultraviolet (UV) filters and are typically used in cosmetic and skincare products to help protect skin from sun exposure. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter sunscreen under the FDA's monograph rule for the sunscreen drug category, meaning it follows the standard safety and ingredient rules for that class rather than being individually reviewed by the FDA.
