Clinical
TiZO Mineral Sun Defense SPF 50 is a topical cream sunscreen sold over the counter under FDA's OTC monograph rules. It contains two mineral-based active ingredients, titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, which function as physical UV filters. These ingredients work by sitting on the skin surface to reflect and scatter ultraviolet rays away from the skin. This type of sunscreen is commonly used to help protect skin from sun exposure.
