Clinical
This is an oral liquid-filled capsule sold over the counter as a daytime cold and flu product. It contains acetaminophen, which is typically used to relieve pain and reduce fever, along with dextromethorphan, a cough suppressant commonly used to reduce coughing. The product also includes phenylephrine, a decongestant typically used to help relieve nasal congestion. This is an OTC monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for over-the-counter cold and flu products rather than as an individually reviewed application.
