Clinical
HACCP QE2 is a topical liquid containing benzalkonium chloride, an antimicrobial agent commonly used in over-the-counter antiseptic and disinfectant products. This product is marketed under FDA's OTC monograph rules for its category rather than as an individually approved drug application. Benzalkonium chloride typically functions as a broad-spectrum antimicrobial to help reduce bacteria on skin and surfaces. The liquid form is applied directly to the area being treated.
