🩺 Clinical
This is an oil-free lotion applied to skin that contains three active ingredients commonly used as sunscreen filters. Octinoxate and octisalate are organic UV filters that absorb ultraviolet light, while zinc oxide is a mineral UV filter that reflects and scatters UV rays. Together, these ingredients are typical in sunscreen products formulated to provide broad-spectrum sun protection with an SPF rating of 40. This is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for sunscreen products.
