🩺 Clinical
Sootheez Watermelon Mint is an over-the-counter lozenge that dissolves in the mouth and contains pectin as its active ingredient. Pectin is a soluble fiber commonly used in lozenges and throat products to form a soothing, protective layer in the mouth and throat. This product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for its category rather than individual approval. The lozenge format allows the pectin to coat the oral tissues as it dissolves.
