Clinical
This is a mineral sunscreen cream applied to the skin, marketed as an over-the-counter product under FDA's monograph rules for sunscreen ingredients. The active ingredient, zinc oxide, functions as a physical UV filter that sits on top of the skin to block and scatter ultraviolet rays. Products containing zinc oxide are commonly used to help protect exposed skin from sunburn and sun damage.
