Amish Origins SPF 15 Lip Balm is a topical stick product that functions as a sunscreen for lip protection. It contains three ultraviolet (UV) filters: octinoxate, octocrylene, and oxybenzone, which are commonly used together in lip balms and other sunscreen products to help absorb and scatter UV radiation from the sun. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter drug under FDA's monograph system for sunscreen ingredients, meaning it follows established rules for this category rather than undergoing individual FDA review.
