Clinical
Sani-Foam is a foaming topical solution containing benzalkonium chloride, an antimicrobial agent commonly used in hand sanitizers and skin antiseptics. This over-the-counter monograph product is applied directly to the skin and is typically used to reduce bacteria on the hands and skin surfaces. Benzalkonium chloride functions as a broad-spectrum antimicrobial that is often found in hand sanitizers, wound cleansers, and first-aid products where germ reduction is desired.
