Clinical
Gly-Oxide is an over-the-counter oral liquid containing carbamide peroxide, an antimicrobial agent that breaks down into hydrogen peroxide and urea when in contact with oral tissues. This type of product is commonly used to help remove debris, reduce bacteria, and promote cleansing in the mouth and throat. Carbamide peroxide in oral rinses is typically used as an aid for minor mouth irritations and to support oral hygiene routines.
