It contains chloroxylenol, an antimicrobial ingredient commonly used in antibacterial hand soaps to reduce bacteria on the skin during washing. This is an over-the-counter monograph product, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for antibacterial hand soaps rather than as an individually approved drug application.
