🩺 Clinical
Sunsorb Reef Safe SPF50 is a topical lotion containing three active ingredients commonly used in sunscreen products. Homosalate and octocrylene are organic UV filters that work to absorb ultraviolet radiation, while zinc oxide is a mineral UV filter that reflects and scatters UV rays. This is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for sunscreen products rather than as an individually approved application.
